HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL SPLIT CASING PUMP

The Split Case Pump casing is split horizontally or vertically depending on the type of pump, for maintenance.

 

Suction and discharge flanges are opposed to each other.

 

Usually designed to mount horizontally but may also be designed for vertical installation, hence Horizontal Split Case Pump or Vertical Split Case Pump.
