O-RING

O-ring are the most versatile of all seals, as well as simple and low cost. The shape of the O-ring is a circular torus (O-shape). It is suitable for both static and dynamic sealing in almost every field of application within the operating limits and material characteristics, provided that these seals are technically designed and applied. Selection of an elastomer (polymers) largely depends on application and physical properties required for an O-ring.
